Identifier apps (based on the image search feature) were released for bigger categories. In the future more apps may be released. As for paper clips this category currently doesn't have the image search feature enabled. You may add a poll to see whether many collectors need this feature in the paper clip catalog.

but our group is so small that the number of supporters

wouldn't make enough of an impression on Colnect's leadership.
