AS I WILL BE AWAY FROM HOME A LOT DURING THE NEXT FEW MONTHS I WILL BE UNABLE TO COMMENCE ANY NEW EXCHANGES UNTIL MARCH 2026.

Fellow stamp collectors, liebe Sammlerfreunde (ja, es klappt auch prima auf deutsch !),

I am a collector from Australia and have been corresponding and exchanging with collectors around the world for over 30 years. I joined this group only recently and am still finding my way around Colnect.

I collect used/postmarked stamps only, and my main areas of interest are Australia & Territories, Western Europe and Thailand. My main European interests at the moment are Germany pre-1949, Austria pre 1960, Italy pre-1940 as well as Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Great Britain and the Scandinavian countries.

I will incrementally expand my wish lists and swaps. I imagine this will take quite some time. All my swaps are used/postmarked/cancelled and sometimes CTO (cancelled to order).

I want to make sure that my exchange partners and I both benefit from our exchanges. Exchanging 1-1 is ok for low value stamps, but higher value stamps I will only exchange for stamps of a similar catalogue value. Happy to negotiate.

I always strive to send only undamaged stamps and appreciate the same in return (please no stamps with missing/short perforations, creases, thin paper, stained etc). I would prefer stamps cancelled with a CDS (Circular Date Stamp) but I understand sometimes this will not be possible.

Please note:

·      I try hard to ensure the stamps I have marked match the variation listed in the Colnect catalogue when it comes to perforations, watermarks, phosphorous etc., however there will be errors at times. If it is extremely important to you that the stamp matches the variation then please let me know so I can confirm.

·      Many of the recent Australian self-adhesive/peel & stick stamps in my Swap List are still on paper because these stamps now have security micro cuts which make it (almost) impossible to separate them from the paper without damaging the stamps.

·      Due to the high cost of registered mail I usually only send via regular mail.

I look forward to many fruitful exchanges.
