Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Adel Radwan, I am a Maltese-Egyptian world banknote collector, living in Malta and an IBNS full member (12329-R) since 2018.

Right now, I am collecting only Uncirculated banknotes, although I have a couple of nice collections of other collectables, including coins, stamps, bank cards, hotel cards and admission tickets. Right now, the only updated collection and swap lists are those of banknotes. I am still working on updating other collectables' lists for those of you, interested in swapping such items for banknotes. It will take me some time, but I believe I will get there one day! I collect banknotes by date and signature, and not simply by type. Therefore, all banknotes are of interest, having said this, I still have my preferred countries list, which includes The Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, post-Soviet, Middle Eastern and African countries.

I included some FAQs below, which should facilitate negotiating, or at least I hope it will :) Having said this, should you have any other queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Q: What am I looking for?

A: Uncirculated (UNC) banknotes for now.

Q: What can I offer?

A: I can offer anything available in my swap lists. Except for banknotes, other collectable lists are still incomplete. Nevertheless, my complete coin collection and its related swap list are available on Numista. You can check it by visiting this link.

Q; Can you send me a swap offer on Numista?

A: Yes, of course! Should you do so, kindly notify me here as well.

Q: How is the swap value evaluated?

A: Although it is not the most accurate and is now discontinued, I still prefer to use the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money. I am using the latest edition. This is the 25th edition. The same applies to coins, I am still using the Standard Catalog of World Coins. Scott Standard Postage Stamp Catalogue is used for stamps. Nevertheless, should we agree on another way of evaluation, the swap value can be considered according to the agreed method.

Q: Who sends first?

A: Agreeing on a particular day to send our items has always been my way, especially if we share the same overall rating. Otherwise, the partner with the lower overall rating should send first and provide evidence of this, usually a tracking number.

Q: How shall we exchange letters and parcels?

A: I use registered mail with a tracking number only. Unfortunately, I cannot accept swaps if the other partner uses regular mail. I use our national postal service, MaltaPost. You can visit its website here.

Q; Are there any restrictions?

A: MaltaPost operates an outbound letter-mail service to more than 190 countries worldwide. Nevertheless, mailing service to the Russian Federation is currently suspended.
