I live in the UK (Northwest England) and began collecting when I was 7. I became a more serious collector when I started earning money and focussed on post-war (1945) UK. I now have an extensive collection of Machin definitive variants. I began to expand to the rest of the world a few years ago simply because I had stamps from so many other countries that I had acquired along the way.

My current focus is on Germany (Realm, FR and Berlin), France and Belgium but if you have items on my Wish list let me know.

I am happy to swap on a value basis (I use Stampworld first or other catalogues for varieties) rather than 1 for 1.

I prefer to keep self-adhesive stamps on paper, I've seen too many that have been spoiled by attempts to remove them.

I respect the different varieties of stamps as listed - watermark, phosphor, paper and I expect the same with proposed swaps. if I do not know exactly what variant I have, I do not list the stamp on Colnect.
