Avi Wald has passed away on September 27, 2010. Avi started collecting after his youngest son, Uri, asked him to help his phone card collection. His second son, Ofer, created Islands Phonecards Database for phone card collectors to convince Avi to use the Internet more. His third son, Amir, later took control over Islands Phonecards Database from Ofer and transformed it into Colnect which you're now viewing. Avi also left behind his wife Aliza, his first born Dror and his grandchildren Raz, Yuval, Almog, Inbar and Zohar. May he rest in peace.
