The 1994 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XVII Olympic Winter Games, were held in Lillehammer, Norway, from February 12 to 27, 1994. A total of 67 nations participated in 61 events across 12 disciplines, with new events including women's biathlon, short track speed skating, and freestyle skiing. Eusmilus is an extinct genus of predatory mammal that lived during the Oligocene epoch, approximately 33 to 23 million years ago. It was a member of the family Nimravidae, which were saber-toothed cats that lived in North America and Eurasia during the Paleogene period. Eusmilus was about the size of a large modern-day cougar, with a muscular build and long, saber-like canine teeth that were used for hunting.
