In 1883 the Court of Auditors was created to take control of public funds, which lasted until 1928 when Hernando Siles then President of the Republic would create a law that would give birth to the Comptroller General of the Republic of Bolivia to supervise and to have an external control over the administrations of public bodies of the state.
