In 2018, a series of mini-coins "Smallest Ruthenium Classics" was issued on behalf of the Republic of Ghana.
The nominal value of the coin is 1 Ghanaian sedi, the metal is ruthenium 0.999, pruflake, weight is 0.5 g, size is 11 mm. The minting limit is 5000 pieces.
The portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain is stamped on the obverse. There are inscriptions around the portrait: "REPUBLIC OF GHANA", "ELIZABETH II", "1 CEDI".
On the reverse there is a fossil of a sea urchin, which in a fossil state have been known since the Ordovician. Inscriptions in the upper part of the circle: "WORLD OF EVOLUTION ECHINOIDEA 2018", en la parte inferior - "1/2 G RU .999".
