The Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Interpol, known as DIJIN, is an operational unit of the National Police of Colombia that performs the functions of judicial police.
Its main functions are the collection of evidence, the establishment of the occurrence of an offence and the responsibility of the authors or participants, aimed in providing security and peaceful citizen coexistence during the judicial and criminal investigation. Additionally, they´re in charge of the management of crime information to give timely support to the administration of justice against insecurity.
