- Description:
- The printing plates of the Willem III stamps consist of 100 stamps. It is often possible to accurately determine the position at which a stamp was placed on the printing plate.
5 Cent Plate VI.
30% is printed on thick paper, 70% on thin porous paper. With thin porous paper the watermark is almost always clearly visible at the front. Often the "5" frame has been retouched. 20 Stamps have touch-ups in the "POST" frame that are drawn from top to bottom on all stamps. With 10 stamps, the left inner frame line is reinforced.
NVPH lists 2 variants of Plate VI (1q and 1r).
Variant NVPH NL 1r:
The color lines have disappeared on many stamps. The color streaks are still visible. The color is blue on thin porous slightly tinted paper. The seals are difficult to position on the printing plate because many features have bled onto the thin porous paper. - Buy Now:
