Hi, my name is Marc.

When I was a kid I started collecting stamps. Mainly Dutch ones, to complete my father's and grandfather's collection.

When I grew older the stamp collection disappeared somewhere to the attic and wasn't touched for years. About 15 years later I took the collection out of the boxes they were in and started collecting again. Then I got busy again with work and studies, so no I didn't Colnect until late 2019. Now hoping to keep it up again.

I currently collect used stamps from Poland, Czechoslovakia and Japan Furusato. I am alsoworking on completing my Dutch collection up to 2010 MNH. I also decided that I want to collect Moldavan stamps, from the beginning onwards and MNH.

I use colnect to keep track of the stamps I have and to swap my doubles with other people for the stamps I don't have yet.

As for swapping, I use these guidelines (except for when there is a huge difference in catalogue value):

• 1 used stamp for 1 used stamp
• 1 unused stamp for 2 used stamps
• 1 MNH stamp for 3 used stamps
• 1 MNH souvenir sheet for 8 used stamps
• 1 used souvenir sheet for 4 used stamps
• booklets and other sheets: the amount of stamps * 1,5 for used or * 3 for MNH
• stamps used for posting a swap do not count towards the amount of swapped stamps
