Hi! I'm Lou. I've been collecting stamps, on & off since about 2004. In the Philately world - that means I'm a beginner.

My favorite stamp ever is the RedBack Imperforated $1 Stamp that was only ever available via the minisheet released as part of the Dangerous Australians Issue in 2006.

I only collect Australian Stamps, (with an exception for anything Wallace and Gromit coming from the UK) Most of my stamps are from the mid 1980's through to current issues.

I have a preference for visually appealing stamps, however a touch of OCD means I collect every stamp from every issue (including variations if I can get my hands on them).

I also love illustrated gutter strips, Self adhesive booklets and First Day Covers - (I design my own and send them down to the Australian Postmarking Department to get them properly Cancelled)

I've been contributing to the stamp section of the Colnect catalog on and off since 2011. When I help this way, I find I learn heaps more about the stamps in my collection. When I first started, I had no idea about Gum, Self Adhesive (Peel & Stick) or perforations! - I really recommend contributing to the colnect collections as a way to increase your knowledge.

I only have Australian Stamps to trade, if anyone is interested in trading. I only want Mint Condition, Gum intact, Never Cancelled, Never Hinged, Perfect Stamps (or gutter strips, Booklets & FDC's). (Did I mention OCD)
