We have switched Colnect into the new design! Now the new look will be shown to all members and visitors on Colnect.

If you you prefer to use the old design instead, you can still switch to the previous look by clicking on "Old design" at the top right of every Colnect page or [404 LINK REMOVED].

If you are still using Colnect in the old design mode, you can click "New design" at the top right of every Colnect page.

It's been a long time coming, but now it's starting, Colnect will have a [404 LINK REMOVED]. Colnect is working on updating itself into a more sleek, comfortable and aesthetic look. It's a work in progress, and we will very much welcome your feedback on it!

The best way to give feedback would be with a screen shot and mentioning your browser and its version.

You can view the work in progress at a special test "edge mode" of Colnect:

Moi j'aime bien la nouvelle présentation du site colnect.

Je la trouve plus lisible et j'aime bien la forme de présentation des images des diverses collections.

Hi,

Appearances can be deceiving.

The Old Colnect works fine on my PC at home but at work I have given up trying.

The pages are just row upon row of data and "Inbox" is nowhere to be found.

If you Log In it seems to work but you have to go to the bottom of the page to see where you ended up.

And then the missing Inbox!!

So ,YES, if it is an improvement, go for it but for appearance- I would rather Colnect worked elsewhere as well.

Thanks for reporting. The category icons bug was fixed in Hebrew, please refresh the page using F5 button.

I love it.....the lay out is clean and easy to read.....any changes to COLNECT can only be for the better in my view.

Please notice that as part of our design changes some things will affect the older design, which we plan to keep active for collectors for at least another month.

Such change that is being done today is removing the rounded corners of avatar pictures. If your browsers shows a mix, you might want to refresh the page (F5) or clear your cache altogether.

Please also note that we're fixing minor issues with the new design so if you wish to report that something is broken, please refresh first to ensure you're using the latest version.

The new design is very nice, it is right to make changes to improve navigation and appearance

I noticed that the colors of the new design are the same as Facebook; I do not know if this is a positive or negative aspect perhaps it would be better characterize the site with a different color. I would suggest giving each user (premium users?) the ability to change color at its discretion, by customizing your own layout.

I also suggest to leave the shadow around images to better define them from the background.

New design look nice.

Only what is better in old is presentation of item picture. I look for sugars. In old design below sugar picture is shadow, and this shadow helps to see (notice) edges for white sugar pictures.

In new design this is a little bit difficult.

All except this look better and more modern.

Lelecollector - I'm glad you like the new design

The new color is similar to Facebook, but it's not the same one. The new Colnect color is more on the grey side than FB. We wanted to keep the blue theme of Colnect, but tone it down to a darker, more professional look. The color can be even darker, but I think it makes Colnect look too serious and black. Maybe a little darker would be better, I'm not sure.

About being able to customize, not sure about the technical aspect of it, maybe others will be able to comment better.

Lelecollector and igoSugarPacks - about images shadow, I disagree. I think that having no shadow matches the new design better, which is a "flat" look.
