NEW: Custom Personal Lists - Now Available to All Members!

We're happy to announce that this useful and comfortable feature is now available to all members of Colnect

What are Custom Personal Lists

In addition to the common inventory lists on Colnect (Collection / Swap / Wish), you can create custom personal lists to suit your needs. When custom lists are added, you can add and remove item to and from them in the same way you do for the common lists. Premium members can create up to 44 lists, each one with 10,000 items at most. Other members are limited to 2 lists, each one with 50 items at most. Read more about it here.

In the past, the feature of Custom Personal Lists, has been available to Premium Members only. Now all Colnect members can try them out and enjoy.

I have just come across your new rules for Premium collectors I tried to put a minisheet in my wants list and found I could not because it was full

Thank you very much for this. Before I had to copy images of items into word, in order to keep track of what items I was getting from other collectors, now I just have to click and add it to a list.

[Denfos] - I understand, but the length of Wish lists needs to be limited because it can burden the system and make some things on Colnect much slower for all collectors and uncomfortable to use.

I feel let down because I have just paid for two more years as a premium member and you have changed the rules I would like my premium to be cancelled and my monies to be returned

Denfos - Very sorry for the inconvenience. I've now raised the limit to 20,000 which should be more than enough for custom lists. As custom lists do not participate in scoring and "best matches" feature, I suggest you manage your wish list without a custom list. With the new filters you can easily see the format of the item you want. I surely understand why you had a second list before but perhaps with the additional features available today, it probably isn't needed anymore. You can also see it has items which are not minisheets https://colnect.com/en/stamps/formats/c ... _13/Denfos

Tcawe- Thank you for pointing out some things I should have realised being new additions to the service Ie separate areas like Africa Asia etc

From your lists you pointed out to me I have realised that it will be even easier for me to keep up to date

Hello, as a Premium member, I can create personal lists, and that is a very good help for swap. But what will happen when my Premium time ends ? I shall conserve my lists or the lists will be cancelled or reduced at 2x50 ?

Romanus - your lists will remain intact, nothing will be deleted. BUT as a non-premium you won't be able to add more lists or have more than 50 items in a list. Being a premium member helps Colnect but it is not a must. We welcome all collectors.

I also suggest to raise the limit to 100 items for each of the 2 lists available to non members.

As a matter of fact, It is most convenient for collectors to exchange approximately 100 items at one time, because that amount would weigh less than 20 grams (standard postage). Exchanging 50 items or less is a waste.
