We would like to thank all the collectors who have filled out this survey, to help us see how to better grow our community.

We have conducted a first round of analysis of the results of the survey, and reached some interesting results.

1: How did you hear about Colnect?

3: How do you think we can find more Colnectors and grow our community?

We've received many suggestions - Promotion on Social networks, Free premium memberships promotion, Group discounts, Advertising on Collector Sites, Clubs and Groups, Local and International such as “swapping ads” displaying items now on offer for exchange on Colnect, Promotions on Collectors Fairs/Conventions Worldwide, promotion on Local/National/Online Collectibles Magazines, Collector forums promotion, Provide better marketplaces, Improve Colnect Features and add new ones, Bring a Friend Promotions, Merchandising, Add new categories, Nominate Country “Ambassadors”, Organize Colnect Meetups / Local Colnect Clubs, Collaborate with other collectors sites and services. Contests, Add educational tools and more.

Here are some interesting things we learned from the results:

• 76% of collectors have recommended Colnect to a friend. 23% of collectors reached Colnect because a friend recommended it. Those figures are very substantial. First of all, we're glad to see that Colnectors are satisfied enough to recommend Colnect to friends. Second of all, it shows how community-oriented we really are.
• Many collectors suggested that we should have more "Bring a Friend" type promotions on Colnect, and we will take them up on their advice. We want to support collectors who try to introduce the tools of Colnect to more collectors. If you have ideas on how best to offer such promotions, you are welcome to reply with your idea below.
• From the many wonderful suggestions made by collectors, there are few that we are already working on, such as the Country “Ambassadors”, and will announce on the forum as they are implemented.
