- Swaziland celebrates 50 years of its independence from the United Kingdom in 2018, the same years as its king, Mswati III. To commemorate the two anniversaries the Central Bank of the country has issued a circulation coin with a facial of 5 lilangeni (0.34 €).
The reverse side of the coin has been designed by Mlandvo Motsa, 14 years old and a high school student. The design tries to transmit the development of the country in the urban and the rural, the advances in science and technology that allow the increase of the food production for its people, as main achievements in its 50 years of independence.
The obverse of the coin features the portrait of King Mswati III. In the upper part the name of the country and in the lower part some words in Zulu that are translated as "Adult man". - Купить сейчас:
