How to report a bug / suggestion

The best way to report bugs / suggestions for Colnect is using this forum. This forum is public and so you'll be able to see what other collectors reported and not repeat them.

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES:

1/ Search this forum before posting, especially Pending issues for Colnect V2. What you're thinking about might have already been raised.

2/ Always include links to pages on Colnect. It makes it a lot easier to understand.

3/ Start a new topic for anything you wish to report. Please include a meaningful subject.

4/ Do NOT report wrong information on Colnect's catalog here. Use the "Add a Comment" feature and our editors will address your comment when possible.

I disagree. This is relevant information which the editor can decide to use or not. In Colnect V2 you can choose, as an editor, to 'accept' or 'reject' a comment. The comment you mentioned can be used to create NCSF for adding the missing cards.

Anyway, please create a different post for this subject as the subject of this post is about bugs in the system, not in the catalog. Thanks.

Can you switch back to version v1 !!!

I want to see again when there is a new mail at the in box and do not get it marked at the outbox !

I want to see again how many cards of which country I match with another collector and the see the cards in a list !

Not 30 cards on a page mixed by countries and the 131 pages to look through !

I want to to see only the countries I match cards with swap list and issue list not getting into each box

and see no matches .

Change match point companies with countries an handle it as the same says.

Where can i find a list of all collectors of each country.

What are the improvements of the page ?????? !!!!

I tried to work with the V2 a little, but so far I must agree with other users who are not a "fan" of the new version. I do not ask for giving back V1, but it seems very hard to understand and work with V2.

Bugs:

1.) It's not possible to search for phonecards by adding them in the search-box for "search name" nor "catalog code".

2.) I can't find the button to compare the cards from my swap/want-lists with the lists of other users.

3.) Where are the buttons to see recently added cards

4.) V2 seems a lot slower than V1

5.) I want to choose how many cards I can see per page

And surely there are more bugs/things that were better in V1 but I didn't found them yet.

Amir, I know you did your best to give us a perfect site as V1 was, but I so far I found many things that worked better on V2.

Well, the better I can say is that it is very hard to work with V2...

Question : is it possible to display more than 10 phonecards on a page? When you work on a country which contains more than 500 cards, you have to change pages a lot of times. It takes a long long long time... I used to display 100 cards on each page on V1. How can I do to find again this very useful fonction???

When I put up my collection & choose Japan series & then pick GSM up pops No Cards.When I look at the display ruler there sitting as large as life is BEZEQ.Checked more than once.A big bug.

I agree with other user that we need more than 10 cards per page.

V1 is still temporarily available in read-only mode at -REMOVED-

There is no problem with the Inbox / Outbox. If you experience any issues, please describe them with more details.

Card counters shall be added soon and so will the option to customize the number of cards of the list. You should check the new filtering options that will make it much easier for you to view cards then browsing through all as before.

You can now match by countries, companies or all cards altogether.

To find collectors by country you can click 'Countries' in the 'Collectors' page. In addition, click the collector's flag (either in a list or his profile) will take you to the list of collectors from this country.

Colnect V2 offers many improvement, a few of them you can see here

The options to set the amount of items on each list will soon be available using the "Account" page. This may take a few more days and will be announced on the forum when ready.

1/ These features work well. Make sure you're logged in when you try to search. If you experience problems please send me the links you're getting to here.

2/ On each collector's profile page you have links to their lists and matches with yours.

3/ Since updates are currently paused, this options will be added again when the imports are enabled again. Hopefully, it'll be within a week.

4/ There are currently server overloads which I'm doing my best to resolve. This should improve in the coming days and V2 will be faster than V1.

5/ In a few days an "Account" page will be added where you'll be able to change your UI settings.

Actually I didn't even get to check it so please confirm it's gone.

Collectors will now see the same amount of cards on each list page as before. Those who saw 25 items will now see 30 (we need to keep an even number).

It will take at least a week since I'm still stabilizing the system (it's getting overloaded too easily).

I'm working on improving the site non-stop so with some patience, everything will be much better than before
