Obverse: It resembles the Jagiellonian double cross on some Hungarian coins of this ruler. The inscription WLAD / the figure of the King with a sword and scepter / REX is placed in the vertical layout. The transverse arms are inscriptions and dates - on the upper POLONIE UNGARIE, on the lower 1434-1444 and 1440-1444. Between the arms there is an image of the obverse and the reverse of an inscriptionless obola (1/2 denarius) minted by the mint in Buda, containing the Polish eagle and the coat of arms of Hungary. The person of the king, incorporated between the coins, symbolizes the unity of both countries. At the bottom, the name of the issuer and the
series NR 6A, year 83.
Reverse: A battle scene, an armed clash of a lone rider (W艂adys艂aw) on the left and a Turkish army on the right. Over the combatants. The Crescent Moon, which is above the cross that was defeated in this battle. Behind them are the inscriptions OCCIDENS (west) and ORIENS (east) telling about what forces clashed at Varna. The inscription VARNA below the king. Below, sea waves and the inscription MARE NEGRUM (Black Sea). Obverse: The image depicts the obverse of a denarius called the "Prince with a Sword".The inscription VLODIZLAVS is based on another dukat "Prince on the throne". At the top, the extreme dates of senior reign MCXXXIIX/1138/MCXLVI/1146.Under the pearl shell, the issuer and series number are given "路 PTAiN路82 路 SER 路 KROL 路 NR路 3'A".
Reverse: Contains elements of the denarius "The Prince and the Prisoner", the waks of "good" with "evil". On the outskirts there is an image of an eagle, below is the scene of the defeat and exile of W艂adys艂aw from the country, by the brothers. Above and below the stage the inscription VLOD路DUX/ POLONIE/ TERRAS/ VNITVRVS/ A/ FRATRIBVS/ EXPELLITVR/ MCXLVI
(W艂adys艂aw the prince Polish the united land and expelled by his brothers).
