The Scouts Association of Colombia was founded in Bogotá. D.C., on June 22, 1913 and is recognized and authorized to create and direct Scout groups since 1934 according to Decree No. 1948. The association is alien to any political activity, abides the laws of the Republic of Colombia and promotes works of human development and community service.
