According to the latest announcements by the Somalia Ministry of Communications and Technology in 2025, the Somali postal service was suspended since around 1990. This due to Civil war and the destruction of all the postal infrastucture in 1991. This puts into question the validity of this item. No examples of postal usage exists and all sales are of unused stamps which is why this item is considered an agency issue.
