- This stamp was issued to celebrate the inscription by the UNESCO of the Coffee Cultural landscape into the World Heritage List on 25th of June 2011.
Colombia ranks third in the world as a coffee-producing country and the first place as the largest producer of soft coffee. Germany, the United States, Japan, the Netherlands and Sweden are the main importing countries of Colombia's coffee.
Coffee from Colombia is without a doubt an outstanding coffee: the Selective collection, the production procedure, the drying and its subsequent classification guarantee the optimum quality of the product.
The cultural coffee landscape is formed by the departments of Caldas, Valle del Cauca, Risaralda and QuindÃo and has as common characteristic that the natural, cultural and economic elements are homogeneous in the region, being an exceptional case in the world.
