General Rafael Uribe Uribe was born in the Hacienda El Palmar, jurisdiction of Caramanta, today Valparaiso, on April 12, 1859.
He studied law at Rosario College where he graduated on September 24, 1880. This citizen of Antioquia should not only be remembered as a military, field in which he served in many actions, but also as a jurisconsult, orator, debater, journalist, diplomat and many other activities.
