In Type II is generally sharper and clearer than Type I. In Type II it is more visible that the 5 horizontal stripes in the frame at the top are each made up of of 3 narrow lines and in Type I these stripes look nearly solid. The vertical lines in the water below the ship are blurred in Type I and sharper and clearer in Type II.
