- The stamp shows a monument made by Rodrigo Arenas Betancourt (October 23, 1919 in Fredonia, Antioquia - May 14, 1995), a Colombian sculptor. The ststue, made of bronze, steel and concrete, is18 m height and is located in the Antioquia University. At the time of his death in 1995 the artist was recognized as one of the most important sculptors in Colombia and Latin America. Most of the main cities in Colombia have statues sculpted by Arenas.
Arenas died on May 14, 1995 in the municipality of Caldas located in the southern end of the Valley of Aburrá and part of the MedellÃn Metropolitan Area. His bronze statues are characterized by their enormous proportions and dramatic expression. - Buy Now:

- India Catalina (c. 1495 – ?) was an indigenous woman (almost certainly Calamari) from the Colombian Atlantic coast, who accompanied Pedro de Heredia and played a role in the Spanish conquest of Colombia, acting as interpreter and intermediary.
The events of the Spanish conquest in the area of modern Cartagena ended with the complete annihilation of the Calamari people, which happened while she was enslaved and abducted by the Spaniards.
The name of Catalina India appeared in a letter sent for Pedro de Heredia to King Carlos V in 1533. No one knew what her real name was because they began calling her 'Catalina' from 1509 when the Diego de Nicuesa expedition kidnapped her.
