- The Tequendama Falls is a 132 metres high waterfall of the Bogotá River, located in the municipality of Soacha. Established in approximately 10,000 BCE, El Abra and Tequendama were the first permanent settlements in Colombia. One of the country’s tourist attractions, the falls are located in a forested area and during the month of December the falls become completely dry.

- The Romelio Martínez Stadium, was conceived on 1932, because that year the National Games of Colombia were to be made in Barranquilla. The stadium was finished on 1934 with the name of "Estadio Municipal" (Municipal Stadium). The initial capacity of the stadium was of 10,000 spectators. It had a wooden structure that support the deck of the grandstand and the architectural stadium's style is Art Deco.

- The "Monument of the Flag" of Barranquilla, designed by the Italian Tito Ricci, was made by the sculptor Marco Tobón Mejía in Paris. Transported from the French capital to Barranquilla in the steamship "Colombo", the statue arrives August 14, 1931 and was inaugurated on November 11th of the same year after having been installed in the highest part of the park "November 11".
