The pastoral visit of Paul VI to Colombia took place between 22 and 24 August 1968 on the occasion of the closing of the 39 º International Eucharistic Congress in Bogotá, and the 2nd General Latin-American Episcopal Conference in Medellín. It was the first papal visit made to Colombia and Latin America.
