The Island of Stroma or Isle of Stroma or Stroma, is an island off the northern coast of the mainland of Scotland. They never needed a local mail service as the Post Office subsidised a weekly boat service from Huna on the mainland and established a post office on the island in 1879. It was used until the island was fully abandoned in 1962. In 1962 Clive Feigenbaum began producing bogus labels in the name of Stroma and continued productions until 1970. A majority are overprinted with all kinds of bogus overprints. They never had any validity as British Locals and should be considered bogus in all regards.
