Only sold in direct sales on the Stamperija website and associated dealers
Previously said to be produced for local postal use in Maldives by Philatelic Agent (statement now deleted), and not distributed to new issues agents outside Maldives. The only problem is....little to no evidence of commercial postal usage! "Local" means the topic of the stamp series is on local themes of the country inscribed and that is all it means.
Although this issue was authorized by the Maldives postal administration, virtually the whole issue was not sold in Maldives, but only distributed by the Maldives philatelic agency Stamperija for distribution onto the philatelic market.
