- The Biscay Bridge (Spanish: Puente de Vizcaya or Puente Colgante) is a transporter bridge built from 1888 to 1893, connecting the two towns of Portugalete and Getxo (Las Arenas), located on either side of the Nervion, to the entrance to the port of Bilbao, Spain. It is the world's largest transporter bridge. First transporter bridge built, it is still in service. This transporter bridge was inscribed in 2006 on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
