Reverse: James Earle Fraser's most famous sculpture, theme in pedestal END OF THE TRAIL (end of the trail) which is displayed at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. The model used for the statue was Chief John Big Tree, also one of three models used on the famed Buffalo nickel, which Fraser designed, his portrait at lower right in circle JAMES EARLE FRASER.
