Description:: Obverse: landscape of the Åland archipelago. At the bottom is the hand holding the compass, as well as the bow of the boat. In the center is the sea horizon and clouds, date "2021" . Around there is a legend in Swedish and Finnish; "ÅLANDS SJÄLVSTYRELSE 100 ÅR ◊ AHVENANMAAN ITSEHALLINTO 100 VUOTTA ◊" (the 100th anniversary of Aland self-government). On the left is the Finnish mint mark (lion). On the right are the letters "FI", denoting Finland. In the circular crown of the coin there appear twelve five points stars of the European flag.
Reverse: European side, value 2 left of currency EURO, in front of European map on 6 vertical lines, twelve ★ 5-pointed stars pointed upwards, designer right LL (Luc Luycx)
