- Obverse: Portrait of HM King Charles III facing left; designer on the lapel SR (Steven Rosati). Ruler around, ↻ at left CHARLES III and ⤸ at right D • G • REX (King by the Grace of God), face value ⤻ at bottom 175 DOLLARS.
Reverse: In a boreal forest environment, where the nocturnal summer scene is divided into four separate layers of engraving that partially overlap to create a shadow box effect. With its antique finish, the bottom layer sets the mood by showing a full moon shining in the sky above the mountains and spruce (g. Picea) covered foothills. Engraved on the uppermost layer (also featuring an antique finish), the woodland foreground is teeming with flora that have attracted a Semirelict Underwing moth (Catocala semirelicta) on the upper right, and a hungry Snowshoe Hare (Lepus americanus) at ground level. The two middle painted layers add more complexity and tension to this story: on the second layer, a Lynx (Lynx canadensis) can be seen stalking the hare, while a pileated woodpecker (Dryocopus pileatus), an insectivore bird is resting not far from the moth; and the third layer shows a wolf (Canis lupus) pack tracking the lynx from the edge of a stream; engraver at lower right JC (Julius Csotoyni). Country and date ⤻ at bottom CANADA 𝄓 2025.

Reverse: Presents a new interpretation of the traditional Raven figure of Inuit legends. Realistically depicted on the lower engraved portion of the design, a raven perched on a branch and surrounded by trees represents each of us, grounded in our sense of self. The other, rendered in bas-relief, gleefully soars high into the sky upon realizing they are Raven, Creator of Life. An achromatic hologram (a three-dimensional image created with nanotechnology-based imagining) softens the full moon’s features and captures its magnificent luminosity, while the aurora borealis dances in the night sky. The spectrum of colours seemingly shifts depending on the viewing angle, creating the illusion of motion as it illuminates the raven’s feathers; designer at lower right BJ (Bronson Jacque). State name and date ↷ at top CANADA 2025.
