- Obverse: In the upper part, the State Emblem of the Republic of Abkhazia; gold purity at lower left Au 999, weight at lower right 7.78 and mintmark ММД (Moscow Mint), face value ↷ at top 25 ҦСАРK (25 apsar), issuer at bottom АҦСНЫ АБАНК (Bank of Abkhazia). In the lower part, date 2025, in the background, five lines of micro-engraved text repeat АҦСНЫ АБАНК (Bank of Abkhazia).
Reverse: Depicts an ancient copper coin from Dioscurias, a Greek Polis that once stood in the area of modern-day Sukhumi. The coin shown is a dichalkon from the late 2nd to early 1st century BC. The main feature is a pair of Dioscuri caps, the distinctive headgear of the mythological twins Castor and Pollux, who took part in the Argonauts’ quest for the Golden Fleece. Above the caps are six-pointed “Pontic” stars. The image is framed by a beaded border pattern. - Buy Now:
