The coin dated 1935-L deserves a closer look. It was minted from 1945 to 1947: 3,500,000 were minted in 1945, 7,108,813 in 1946 and 9,400,000 in 1947. These marenghi have the date 1935 to highlight that the coins had the same amount of gold as those minted. before the devaluation of the franc, which took place in 1936.
