Along the rim to the left - the indication of the metal sign in accordance with the D.I.Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements, the fineness and the mint trade mark.
The reverse:
on the smooth field – the image of V.G. Ardzinba and the picture of the National Flag of the Republic of Abkhazia. Under the image – the inscription in Abkhaz «Ардзынба В.Г.» (Ardzynba V.G.), above it –the inscription in two lines «Аҧсны ахада» (The Head of Apsny) and the dates «1991-2005»
