Reverse: At the center, a reference to the stained-glass windows of ancient cathedrals. Baby Jesus rests peacefully in the manger with the ox and donkey behind him warming him; to the left, standing, Saint Joseph watches over him with his hands resting on his staff; on the right, Mary kneels in prayer, her hands clasped, the star above; engraver at upper left PETRASSI INC. (Silvia Petrassi), designer below ⬇ vertically MVENTURA (Marco Ventura), mintmark on the right R (Rome). The Pope at the top in horizontal FRANCISCVS PP., the papal year and date in Roman numerals beneath A. XII MMXXIV (year 12 - 2024). On the center right, motto ↑ in vertical MISERANDO ATQUE ELIGENDO (Piety and Choice), at the bottom, the artist D. LONGO (Daniela Longo) and the engraver V.DESETA (Valerio De Seta).
