Although the issues for this year were authorized by the Chad postal administration, virtually all were not sold nor used in Chad. The vast majority were only sold by the Chad philatelic agency, which was Stamperija during this year, to associated stamp dealers for distribution on the philatelic market to sell only to collectors.
