開元通寶 - Kai Yuan Tong Bao (New beginning currency). Late type (minted from 0732 to 0907). This type can be distinguished by (As shown in Hartill): - The 井 component of 開 touchs the hole; - The head of 通 is long and narrow; - The top storke of 元 is longer; and - The two horizontal stroke in the middle of 貝 of 寶 usually touch the verticals. Various mint marks on reverse side may exist.
